Guatemala, 8 reales, sun-over-mountains countermark (Type II, 1839), on shield side of a Guatemala cob 8 reales 1751 J. KM-102 (host: S-G1a; JP-8R19; Cal-424; KM-12). 27.03 grams. VF host with choice full crown above globes and waves, full date below, the XF countermark near center fully detailed, also most of larger crown on shield side, attractively toned all over, with interesting square hole in one corner.
